Our indices have been crafted to give investors optimal exposure to the growth of China.

AlphaShares has developed and maintains a series of China indexes designed to provide investors with intelligent and diversified exposure to China. Some AlphaShares Indexes are available to investors as NYSE traded ETFs and all are available to institutional investors as separate accounts managed by AlphaShares, LLC. AlphaShares China Yuan Bond Index– measures and monitors the performance of an investable universe of publicly-traded Yuan denominated government, agency, corporate and supranational "dim sum" bonds.

COMING SOON! AlphaShares China A-Share Index– measures and monitors the performance of an investable universe of publicly-traded Local Chinese A-Share companies that trade in Shanghai or Shenzhen.

AlphaShares China Technology Index – The AlphaShares China Technology Index (“the Index”) measures and monitors the performance of an investable universe of publicly-traded Chinese companies. The index is maintained by Standard and Poor”s Corporation (the “Index Administrator”).

AlphaShares China All Cap Index – This index measures and monitors the performance of all investable publicly-traded Chinese companies with market capitalizations above USD $500 Million. It is also designed to give investors appropriate diversification at both the stock and sector level. The Index, maintained by Standard and Poor's Corporation, was created and is owned by AlphaShares, LLC.

AlphaShares China Volatility Index – The “CHIX” measures the implied volatility of options on major China equity indexes. It has been calculated daily for the past 12 months by AlphaShares using a methodology similar to that maintained by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) in its calculation of the CBOE S&P Volatility Index, ( “VIX” ). The CHIX can be found on Bloomberg: AS CN CHIX.

AlphaShares China Small Cap Index — This index measures and monitors the performance of an investable universe of publicly-traded Chinese small capitalization companies – typically those with a float-adjusted market capitalization between USD $200 Million and USD $1.5 billion. The Index, maintained by Standard and Poor's Corporation, was created and is owned by AlphaShares, LLC. Claymore Securities currently distributes and manages an ETF for this index (NYSE: HAO).

AlphaShares China Real Estate Index — This index measures and monitors the performance of an investable universe of publicly-traded companies and REITs deriving a majority of their revenues from real estate development, management and/or ownership of property in China or the Special Administrative Regions of China such as Hong Kong and Macau. The Index, maintained by Standard and Poor's Corporation, was created and is owned by AlphaShares, LLC. Claymore Securities currently distributes and manages an ETF for this index (NYSE: TAO).

AlphaShares, LLC has contracted with Standard & Poor’s to maintain and calculate the indices. S&P shall have no liability for any errors or omissions in calculating the indices.
